The Vishnu Waman Thakur Trust was established in the year 1988. With over 26 years of initiatives in education provision, starting from primary school in 1989, the VIVA group of education now caters to the complete educational cycle for a student with post graduate and professional courses.

The mandate of the trust has been to develop the institute as a leading education hub in the region. The group of institutions provides an ambience where creativity and ideas flourish, thereby producing the leaders of tomorrow with a blend of learning, innovation and excellence.

The VIVA Education group believes in creating an inclusive environment to develop the individual’s competence and empowerment, not only through academics but also with affiliations with various extra-curricular activities which develops an overall personality and a base for the professional world. Currently, VIVA has the largest number of courses offered, second only to Mumbai University campus at Kalina. It is responsible for shaping the future of 32,000 students every year with the active participation of more than 1000 faculties and staff. The students of VIVA have topped University merit lists, represented India in world championships and also achieved eminence in professional fields.

VIVA has five campuses spread over more than 80,000 sq.m. of built-up area. VIVA also has 500 acres of land acquired and earmarked for educational activity, apart from the existing campuses.
